HERE YOU WILL FIND ALL THE FILTER BAGS WE PROVIDE AND MORE
Kaabis Ltd manufactures high quality liquid filter bags to fit standard size filter vessels, as well as custom designed products where requested. The constituent materials have been chosen for their purity, consistent high quality and repeatable performance. Filter bags are available in traditional stitched form or with a fully welded construction, and are fitted with a comprehensive choice of rings.
Extended Life filter bags are available in polypropylene or polyester needlefelt, with micron ratings ranging from 0.5 to 100 microns. These bags can last up to five times longer than standard filter bags.
The increased thickness of the filter media, compared to standard felt filter bags, allows for greater particle retention. Additionally, the extended life filter media features a graded density structure, which means progressively smaller particles are captured as the fluid navigates a tortuous path through the media. This design prevents premature blinding of the filter bag. As a result, the filter media boasts a higher dirt-holding capacity, extending the lifetime of the filter bag.
Within the Extended Life series, Kaabis Ltd uniquely offers a 0.5-micron polyester filter bag. The filter media is constructed from a blend of micro denier and fine denier fibers, providing the finest filtration results of any needlefelt product available on the market.
Mesh filter bags provide surface filtration – a ‘sieving’ mechanism, causing particles larger than the pore size of the media to be captured on the surface of the media. They are excellent for removing non-deformable, solid particles and have no fibre migration.
There are two types of mesh filter bags :
Micron ratings range from 1 – 1500 depending on polymer type.
Monofilament mesh filter bags are manufactured in food safe and silicone free conditions.
Kaabis Ltd. is the premier manufacturer of fully welded filter bags, designed for applications that require either standard polypropylene or polyester felts, extended life felts, or high-efficiency media.
All seams are welded instead of sewn, and when combined with our 360° positive sealing molded Welseal welded ring, it eliminates any pathway for process liquids to bypass through needle holes created by traditional sewing methods or around a conventional metal ring. The Welseal ring creates a 360° hermetic seal between the filter bag and housing, ensuring that fully welded filter bags operate at a higher efficiency than their sewn counterparts. This design is particularly crucial for critical applications that demand low micron ratings or high-efficiency filtration.
Additionally, Welseal rings are equipped with molded lifting handles, providing enhanced ease of use and accelerating bag changes and installations.
Fully welded filter bags are made from 100% synthetic components, making them fully combustible.
For complex applications requiring liquid filter bags which fall outside of the scope of the standard range, our manufactures flexibility and expertise enables us to design and produce custom made filter bags which perfectly meet your needs. Such bespoke products include, but are not limited to :
For demanding applications which require modifications to a standard filter bag product, customisation options include :
Multi-layer felt filter bags offer graded density and multi-stage depth filtration within a single filter bag. By selecting the optimal micron ratings for both the pre-filtration and final filtration layers, these bags achieve a high dirt loading capacity and extended service life tailored to the specific needs of the filtration process.
These filter bags can be constructed with either 2 or 3 layers of polypropylene or polyester needlefelt, and to further enhance performance, an extended life felt layer can be added. Additionally, an optional exterior mesh cover is available.
In addition to their excellent service life, multi-layer bags are particularly effective for filtering fluids containing gel-like particles. Typical applications include the filtration of paints, coatings, chemicals, and food products. Multi-layer filter bags comply with EC food contact regulations and are produced under silicone-free conditions.
